Thank you... That's the first place I looked - Unfortunately there are only # 's (1, 2, 3, 4...) on the fuse box cover - which are meant to correspond with the fuse box diagram in the owner and\or repair manual (these manuals were in the Explorer when it was stolen and not in the truck when I got it back...)

I started pulling fuses to see if one was bad and noticed the wiring the mechanic used to connect the "new ignition" (toggle switch & starter button). I carefully replaced the fuse -don't want chance messing up the wiring. That's why I'm looking for the diagram of what fuse governs the accessories that aren't working (Driving the truck during current heatwave with all but one window UP is like being in a SAUNA!)

I believe the fuse for your starter is in the power distribution box, 93 explorer 4.0L 4X4. find diagram for this in Chilton Ford Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer 1991-1999 Repair Manual 26688 page 6-43 Fig.88 Be aware that there are (4) figures for the 93 4.0L explorer and each shows a different part of the same engine wiring. See top right 'power distribution box' follow lines to the part of your engine you are concerned with, which fuse number, then look inside your engine, passenger fender, push down on the protective ?wall then pull the cover up, see your diagram and fuse numbers. The diagram for inside fuse box, page 6-31 fig.63 I hope this helps

I'm no expert but when you turn key to run position, this turns the fuel pump on if the pump is faulty i would think it would blow the fuse also. Or its your theory a short in the ignition system wiring.

1993 Ford Explorer battery was stolen and they cut all the cables

which wires ? the ones connected to the battery? or the wiring harness? if it's the battery cables then the large wire is the positive side normally red and the negative side is black and is half the size of the positive wire. The battery will have a + and a - on it so you know that the positive wire is + the larger wire and the smaller is black.
