My traction control comes on when driving

If it comes on occasiionally, you obviously are driving on some slick surface. When it senses the slip, it automatically engages the traction control.

Even minor slippage will engage the traction control, like turning a corner, and one wheel slipps a little. If the light is constantly on, you have hit the switch for the Traction Control.

off= of? (the lamp or the feature function)??????????
did you read the operators guide, no? (in glove box)

it says , off means, only partially off.
call Honda and ask, or RTM
read this. and down load it and keep it, so you have it all the time.

Traction control lights are on

if you dont mind loosing radio codes, etc.
battery neg , resets it all , and they owners cry./.....

the dealer has a special too to reset it, no collateral damage.
open glove box, extract the oper guide. search for word
CODE, all those will be lost, at battery net lug pull.
so get all the codes first.
write them down, so when the battery dies, you dont need to beg for codes no one can give ,cept the dealer.

What does tc means

tc stands for traction control . with car started and foot on brake open glove box and push the tc button. I believe it should engage/disengage this feature but im no expert so refer to owners manual first, I think it acts kinda like a mock transfer case?

What is the T/C button for in the glove box of a 2003 CTS cadillac?

This button is for the traction control, when you push it it will say trac off or trac on . this will be displayed on the dash, this is for better traction on snow or wet roads and it keeps the wheels from spinning out, hope this helps, look in your manual under traction control, good luck.

Traction conrol abs

Try seeing if any of the codes are set off. On your climate control section with the ignition on hold the off and warmer button and the display will cycle through the codes. Could be a wheel sensor I had a c1225 LF sensor. Could also be a problem with the Wheel speed sensor harness see TSB# 0005-25-003. When I called my dealer about this TSB they didn't know anything about it. If you shut off the car and disengage the traction control, in the glove box, do the codes go away?

Good luck

Stability System Reset Button on a 2003 Cadilac CTS

YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE TRACTION CONTROL BUTTON IN THE GLOVE BOX DOWN FOR 7SEC. YOU'LL THEN SEE A MESSAGE SAYING THE STABILITY SYSTEM IS OFF. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY LET GO BEFORE IT SAYS IT'S OFF, YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE BUTTON AGAIN, AND START OVER.

Transmission Traction "Off" light stays lit with Traction button

The traction control system is controlled through the Anti-lock brake system. The way it works is if one of your wheels starts spinning the ABS applys the brake to that wheel to transfer power to the oppsite wheel that is getting traction. If your ABS is bad then your Traction control won't work. To check it I would find a parking lot on a wet day. In an open space mash in the gas. if you hear the ABS system kick in and you don't squall the tires then your good. My guess is you won't. What I would be worried about is will my ABS work. When checking the traction control is a good time to check the ABS. Acclerate to around 15 mph, then mash the brake as your live depended on it. If you hear a motor run and feel a vibration or grind in the brake peddal, then it works.
