couldn't you rate me higher such as "ALMOST THERE"...after all, I went through some effort to get this info...and I did address your concern of timing...thanks

I need more info to solve your problem...do you actually have gas in the tank?...is the tank starving for air (vacuum locked)...remove cap

can you up the rating to "ALMOST THERE"?
I did answer your search for timing...
you really need to supply more info...
    is gas getting to engine?

Put head new head gaskets in now come to start it and i have spark and fuel and i have the firing order rite but it wont start it acts like its out of time??? I will get a backfire from time to time when...

I am not familiar with this engine, but, it sounds like the valve timing.
Have you fitted the correct camshafts to the correct place. I had a customer who had messed with his Jag, same kind of fault, turned out he had put the camshafts in the wrong position and head side.
Check the valve timing first, then remove the rocker covers and check those camshafts, this should help to find the problem.

I put new gaskets in a 1990 5.0 f150. It cranks good but wont start. It has compression, gas and spark. What is wrong/or needs to be checked?

Your timing is off. Did you have the distributor out when you changed gaskets or maybe took the plug wires off?

What would cause my1999 Saturn sl1 not to start after a new head gasket was put on? Ok so today we replaced the head gasket on my 1999 Saturn Sl1 single cam. We made sure the timing chain was put back on...

Check the cam/crank sensors. Also, if the car happens to have a distributor, make sure it is not 180 degrees off. If this does not help, then do a compression check. Remember, and engine only needs three things to run. Fuel, Spark, and Compression. (in order of course.) The firing order for your engine is 1,4,3,2.
