If it is cooling fine, then have some oil put in the system,to see if it helps,if it does not,it will not be long, and you will need a new ac compressor and dryer, and expansion valve.
look from under the car. it is probably below the battery. are you able to check with manifold guages? sounds like pressure is too high and could be because reciever/ dryer is blocked. when a compressor goes bad things get into the system and cause blockages. dryer is metal cylinder shape and has two ac lines attached to it. good luck
depends how bad is the leak they do make seals but after labor and they usually last 1 to 2 yrs only ull wish u bought a new one u can try remanufactured dont rec
you mean it is not running, ok it will run the same time with the compressor, monitor if the compressor clutch engage while fan not ,check supply going to the fan if present. The fan is damaged and need to be repair.
ALWAYS use the larger hose to put in the freon .. the small hose is the high pressure side stay away from it.. you might look near your dryer or on the dryer to find the port to put it in .. your dryer is about 3 inches across and 8 inches long cylinder.. instal freon with car running and ac on high. an empty system takes about 3 cans normally .. when its about right your compressor should kick in because there is a pressure switch on the dryer that tells it to kick on .. holler if you need more Jerry and thanks ..
