yes it might be cracked, or have a bad seal, would be of more help, if you could let me know how it happens what happens if you floor it when its doing it, or what happens when you take your foot off the gas etc etc Thanks, hope we can find some insight (this is a very odd problem)

They are not adjustable. There is a chance you can tear it down and clean it, but there is no adjustment to them.

Hello all i have a 1993 buick century 2.2 that kicks out of drive at about 20 mph if i shift it into second it will work ok but not in overdrive or drive only in 1st or second could this be a pressure...

Hi!!

Check fluid level and color. It should be of a pinkish color and also check for a burnt smell. If one of them fail, Service transmission (change fluid and filter).

If fluid looks good but last servece was performed more than 3,000 miles, Service Transmission.

Get a bottle of RISLONE Transmission stop slip and sealant, I get it at AutoZone for about $12, add it to the transmission fluid. That stuff works good. I use it all the time.

Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

DIRTY TRANSMISSION OIL .

no but a low fluid level could cause a slip telling the ecm there is a slip top it off then clear the code and drive a few miles if this code comes back i would say there is internal damage to the tranny

1992 buick century..

Your O2 sensor(s) are fouled. This could be an expensive repair ($200) or inexpensive. Try adding "SeaFoam" ($9) available at Advance Auto Parts and WalMart add to your tank per instructions on the can...(cept you have to drive the car at least 100 miles thereafter).
Good Luck

Acceleration - cannot get above 40 miles per hr.

If the engine revs up while in drive and running at 40mph, your transmission is probably slipping. Try checking your transmission fluid level. If it is OK, I would get it by a garage to have them look at it to cofirm.

URGENT - 1994 Buick LeSabre stalls in mid-ride

I have the same vehicle, and had the same problem. I took it to my mechanic, and after all of the codes were read we replaced the Ignition Control Module, then the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

It runs just fine now.
Best bet would be to have someone hook up the code reader. The car will tell you what it needs(not specifically, but it'll tell you where to look).

Good luck!!!

Kindest Regards,
