Easy one for you if you remove the lower dash panel as this will make removing the brake light switch a lot easier and look at the top of the brake pedal you wil see the brake light switch it will have two wires going to it first just remove the wires and see if the brake lights have gone out if so replace the switch i am presuming it is both lights that are on yates210456

I have a 1992 Honda Accord. There is no power on the brake light in the rear window. In order for this to be inspected, I think this has to work. Let me know. Thanks

I need a wiring diagram for a 1996 grand-am. the brake lights stopped working but the 3rd brake light still works.

I assume the stop lamp bulbs are OK.
Check the ground connection is ok at the rear brakelamp sockets.

Door ajar and brakelamp lights on dash go on randomly for no reason, sometimes very bright, and sometimes not so bright. At first it would come on for a few seconds. Now it seems to be happening more and...

The brakelamp could mean brake probs or brake light needs repairing for the door ajar it could mean that the censor in the door isn't reading properly. It could also be a short in the dash wiring.

This indicates a problem some where in the ABS system. Get the cars computer scanned for error codes , This should nail the problem .replace or repair the component that shows the error .All done and happy motoring.

it means one of your three brake lights are out. check the two on the trunk and the one in the rear windo.
