I even replaced my fuel pump and then found that ther was no juice going to it unless I riged the relay behind the glove compartment which told me there is either a wire problem like a bad ground or something or a bad computer???

    what you think?

High low idle, rough idle stalling

If it's surging, make sure your radiator is full. Do a tune up, plugs, wires, etc. Put some fuel injector cleaner in your fuel tank. On a cold start the vehicle compensates for being cold by adding fuel. Once it warms up the computer tells it to quit adding extra fuel. If it is a bad sensor of sorts, check engine light should come on.

My 92 tempo gl smokes like crazy when i first start it and some times runs rouhg for the first mile then clears up and then drives fine???

The valve stem seals are probably shot, if it is blue smoke-oil burning. What happens is when you shut the car off, oil slips down past the bad seals and pools around the valve seat. Soon as car is started, that pooled oil goes into the cylinder. When you shut the engine off, oil under the valve cover will do the same thing again-it will pool around the valves because of the bad stem seals. A repair manual can tell you how to replace the seals without pulling the head off. An air compressor is necessary to keep pressure in the cylinder, so the valve won't fall down into the cylinder.

I have a 1994 ford tempo that has issues shifting. It starts fine goes into all gears . it shifts from first to second gear at 35mph then shifts again at 45mph. What could be the issue? I changed the...

You may need a transmission shop for this.
Some older cars used a vac modulator to control shift time, but I don't see one listed for a 94 Tempo. Whatever Ford uses to control shift time may be faulty, or the kickdown cable to the throttle body may be sticking. It could have a solenoid inside that does what the modulator once did.

Sounds like the connection to your ECM (the car's computer) isn't tight. find the ECM and pull connector off (might want to take off your negative battery connection first) and check if all the elec. pins are good(not bent), then reconnect and tighten it.The check engine light comes directly off the computer, so that's why I think you have a bad connection there.

make sure to do a fuel pressure test and the presure should stay at 35 psi even after turning ingition off the pressure must to be at least 25 to 30 psi for a few minutes, if it goes to cero or close to it, after turning ignition on then you might need a neww fuel pump installed on it
