My 1997 Saturn SL-2 is having a brake lock problem. After driving a few miles the pedal begans to harden up and the brakes began to lock up. I have had the calipers replaced, also the master cylinder and the brake booster and brake pads. When it gets hot it starts to smoke from the front tires and there is resistance in exceleration. Also have had all the lines bled twice. Help!!!

Sounds like you locked up a Caliber on the passenger side? Any pulling to passenger side or after driving for 2 to 3 min's feel the Center of the steel tim where the Lug nuts are on both drivers front and passenger front wheel both should be cool to warm if 1 is hotter then the other you have a stuck brake.
This car has what we call a Park lock, the park lock is released by a solenoid that receives power from the brake light circuit, this is so you don't shift the transmission into drive without you foot on the brake pedal (federal mandated safety feature). So the 1st thing you must check is that the brake lights work, if not that is the problem.
If pressing the brake pedal does not affect the sound, buy a pair of rear wheel bearings and pay a shop to install them for you. If the rear brakes have not been serviced in the past 10,000 miles then buy all that stuff, including slave cylinders if so equipped, and have it done as well as you will save on labor as the thing will be completely apart
this could be an air leak in a hose,,,have a friend hold the brakes on and stick your head under the hood,,with the engine running press the brake on,,you may here the whistling and fine were its coming from i its a leaky hose fix it fast before you loos your brakes
if it has rubber flexi brake hoses on the back there is a good chance the hose/s are collapsing inside which mean its pushing fliud through when braking but not releasing it
Hi:
You need to check your clutch master cylinder reservour, not your brake cylinder. It is located approx in front of the clutch pedal, outboard of the brake cylinder. If it is low, you need to inspect for leaks around it, the lines connecting it to the clutch slave cylinder that is mounted on the transmission.
