Are you ever able to role that window up or down?

I have had a similar problem, though only intermittently.  At least in my case I have come to discover that the problem only occurs on hot days.  My suspicion, at least in my case, is that differences in heat expansion cause the window to bind (after all, the system is designed not to apply too much force, for various safety reasons).  I have found that if I role the window down and back up while it's a little cooler that I'm able to role it at other times.

The power windows on my 2997 Buick LeSabre do not go down. All of the four windows are involved.

None of the four door windows do not go down, can you estimate the price to have this fixed?

There is no solution.I have had 6 yes 6 windows that didnt work. You have to replace the motor and the control board. They wont sell you just the part you need.It will cost you 750 dollars from the dealer. It is a rip-off.This should have been a recall but they say it is not a safety problem.

How do i repair the wiring to the other windows in my 2001 Buick Lesabre Custom? Only my driverside window and power lock works

FIRST MAKE SURE YOU DID NOT LOCK THE WINDOW, BY RELEASING THE BUTTON, THEN REMOVE DOOR PANEL ON PASSENGER SIDE , UNPLUG WINDOW MOTOR, AND TEST FOR POWER AND GROUND AS SOME ONE PUTS THE WINDOW DOWN FROM BOTH SWITCHES, IF POWER AND GROUND IS THERE REPLACE MOTOR, IF NO POWER THERE CHECK SWITCH, POSIBLE BAD SWITCH, BUT IF YOU SUSPECT WIRING , CHECK THE DOOR JUMB ON DRIVERS SIDE, INSIDE THE RUBBER BOOT MAY BE ONE OR MORE BROKEN WIRES , REPAIR THEM. NORMAL

2000 Buick LeSabre-- None of the controls on the drivers side door work. This includes the power locks, power windows and trunk release. All of the other power windows and power door controls work-- just...

Follow the wiring from between the door and the body to the insides under the dashboard. It's usually inside a soft plastic or rubber tube for protection. Follow the wire bundle if you can to the fuse panel. I don't know exactly where it is on this car, but it's usually very close to the left and underneath of the dashboard. You may find that a plug that has all these wires together has come loose somewhere.

Please update here on your progress. Good luck!

Rear defrost on 97 buick lesabre not working

your problem is in the window..........if you are getting 12v to the wires that connect to the window the lines in the window must have a break in them ............. they must conduct the dc volts to complete the circut, the lines heat form the voltage running through them thus ridding your window of fog and ice
hope this helps...........thanks for choosing FIX YA!
