Well problem isnt solved as of yet. i am following directions of the mechanic online. i will know after a tank or two of fuel. he was very helpfull but he realy just affermed what i allready know... so i'm not complaining... just had to hear it from a second opinion.
allso i was wondering about job opportunities with your company... i am allso very mechanicly inclined and have experience with customer service... phone support as well as a mechanical background in alot of different vehicles... some military some civilian. please let me know what the criteria is

check ALL fuses
check fuel in tank. chryslers are famous for running out of gas when gauge reads 1/4 to 3/8 of a tank.
there is no timing to check on a 99 voyager so i will assume the timing belt was checked and that would only applie to 2.4l 4 cyl. or 3.0l V6.
Do you know how to retrieve fault codes by cycling key, on, off, on,off, on, and leave in on position & count flashes from check engine light. 2 flashes , pause, 2 more flashes, is code 22. 3 flashes, pause 3 more, is code 33 etc.... Get back to us with those codes if any. By the way code 55 means end of message.
Next to the battery & mount onto the upper frame at the front of the car an air filter housing with 2 self tapping bolts. Remove these and disconnect serveral hoses and lift back, Below this is the air filter housing itself. clips are on the side slip off, and replace filter.
