1986 Camaro 2.8eng has a bad oil leak coming looks like from above the oilfilter,

Have you recently had an oil and filter change? Its possible the old "o"ring seal for the old filter got
left stuck in place. I've seen this before and when the new filter is installed the new seal does'nt make a good seal.
If there was'nt a recent oil change, check the valve cover gaskets and the oil pressure sending
unit. I had one crack and start leaking once, it just about drove me crazy before I found it.
Hope this helps.

I ve a 1986 camaro 2.8 all of a sudden it quit changing in 3rd andoverdrive it just reves like it is in nuetral

This is a transmission internal problem. Wither a solenoid or broken band or possibly a low transmission fluid issue. Check the transmission fluid level. If that is good then you will have to have the transmission serviced and possibly rebuilt.

Hi im working on 1986 e300 diesel(124)AC COMPRESSOR IS NOT COMING on i dont have power i have power at relay behine the battery alrede replaced ac pushbuton new reman from mb dealer i need help please

Check the MAGNETiCiC CLUTCH on that compressor! Just pull out the the power connector and directly put it on the (+) terminal, u will hear a clicking sound, thats the magnetic clutch engaging! If u didn't hear anything, magnetic clutch is busted and needs to replace it, if there is available part near ur place! U need an A/C technician to do the job!
Taah!

Fuse blows everytime i run my AC on my 1986 Mercedes Benz.

fuses only blow when they are overloaded, the AC clutch is drawing to much power or the fuse is to light, make sure you have the right amperage fuse, check for bare wires or faulty AC switch....hope this helps....cheers

Remove the iac,and lightly pull the stem out ,and put it back on,ac off, start it,and let it idle for 30 seconds or so,then drive it 40 mile an hour for a block or two then ,turn the air on,and drive it and see what it does, the computer has to relearn.

Ac compressor not switching on 1986 Peugeot 505.GTI How can I test clutch wiring,. Have just aquired this car , heater blowers etc. working but ac clutch not cutting in, is there a switch I have not found....

The best thing to do first is to check the AC clutch itself if it's working, locate the air - con compressor and you will see a wire coming out from the front top of the AC-compressor, it has a connection, remove tht connection and take a piece of wire, connect it to the wire frm the AC-compressor and the other end of the wire to the battery positive terminal,by doing so you will hear a clicking sound of the clutch at the AC-compressor, better still is to start the car's engine, switch 'ON' the AC as normal, let the blower blow thn connect tht wire frm the AC-compressor to the positive side of the battery terminal and check it out if the AC-compressor rotates and also you may get in the car and see if its blowing cold air.
Please also check this -->
HEAT/COLD selector (on the dash) is not selected at HEAT...if it is thn the AC-compresor clutch will not kick in!
Hope this helps!

I am changing the low beam on a 1986 camaro iroc z28 and cannot get at the two lower screws. Any ideas?

You kn ow you have to take the outside chrome piece off, right? If you have the top screws out, you can usually just bend it forward enough to get the headlight out.
