U might just need a wheel balance and a wheel alighnment
if it was a ball joint you would hear a bad sound

If it wobbles with your hands at 9 and 3, its a tie rod end.
If it wobbles with your hands at 12 and 6, its a wheel bearing.

2004 tundra brakes problems

i expect the brake discs are worn/warped and /or the pads , only way to tell is to strip down the front wheels etc , check also for any movement in the wheel bearing's , top and bottom ball joints , track rod joints as all these could cause a wobble/vibration under braking if are worn etc

Front rt wheel wobbles

If it is a front wheel drive, check & see if the axle nut is tight, if not tighten to spec's, if it is you may have a defective wheel bearing or steering rod, also check the ball joints.

Does a 2002 taurus have wheel barrings

Possibilities are:
  1. Bad wheel bearing
  2. Bad tie rod
  3. Bad ball joint
  4. Bad strut
  5. Loose lug nuts
Most cases it's a wheel bearing but since you're getting a loud noise too, it could very well be a bad ball joint or tie rod end.

I have a 1998 toyota chaser. it wobbles during take off to about 50km/h then it stops. what is the problem

Hi,
First check your wheel alignment. That wobble thing mens your front wheels are misaligned or the tie rod, rack end, and ball joints are already loose.
Better bring your car to any under chassis shop for confirmation of parts that needed to be check.
Hope that helps you out!

Ihave a 98 dodge intrepid. The right hand trans output shaft is loose and wobbling.

This is a DEFINITE safety issue and you should have this repaired immediately. There is a good chance that the right side differential bearing or the CV joint has failed.

Possible wheel bearing failure, ball joint failure or tie rod end failure. Does the wobble seem to be when tire is moved toward center of vehicle on top and bottom or front and back??

Remove wheel, brake cliper, cliper mounting bracket, brake pads and rotor.
Remove tie rod end and strut from spindle,
Remove large drive axle nut from center of hub by removing cotter pin and nut cover
Remove the ball joints 2 nuts and 1 bolt
Pull assy. lose from drive axle.
Take complete Hub assy with new bearing to an automotive machine shop and have them disassemble hub and replace bearing.
Reverse steps to reinstall
