My front right brake is locking up in drive when i press on them?

this sounds like you have a brake caliper seized and will need replacing. it could also be a bad brake flex hose that has come apart internally not allowing the brake fluid to return when you take your foot off the brake pedal. most of the time the caliper is the problem.

My 99 Sunfire front drivers side brake caliper mounting bolt wont screw in the mount itself, mount stripped

Step 1:

One of two ways to fix this is to change the caliper bracket. This is the best way and probably the cheapest way as you can find plenty of these cars in wrecking yards.

Step 2:

The other way requires inserting a Heli Coil. You buy the Heli Coil kit for the original bolt and drill and tap the hole to a larger size and install the Heli Coil insert to restore the hole to original size.

Brake caliper won't release

Shane prowett could need flexible brake line...sometimes when changing calipers the flexible lines get stretched or twisted while removing or installing calipers, fluid will push the piston but won't return back to free rotors. Hope I could help ya with your troubles! -Andy Maze-

Front disc brake rotors on Toyota T100 4wd

Remove the calipers like on any other vehicle. You will have to remove the hubs as the rotors are attached to them. It's more involved that a standard passenger vehcle.

How do you get the caliper off of a buick lesabre 1998 custom

If you are removing the complete brake caliper then after removing your tire there are 2 bolts on the back side of the caliper that will have to be removed. You can take a large C-clamp and placing it around the caliper compress your caliper piston a little to ease removal but generally you can still remove it without doing this. Once the bolts are removed take a large screw driver or small pry bar and work your caliper off the rotor. If you are replacing the caliper you would then need to remove the brake line from it. Have your replacement caliper close by and ready to install to minimize the brake fluid you will lose once you remove the hose. After you install the new caliper you will need to bleed your brakes.

Rear brake caliper removal

I just did the rear caliper on my '95 Deville Concours and found that the caliper would not rotate enough to slide it off the top bolt. My solution was to remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt behind the caliper. This gave me the ability to rotate the caliper enough to get the caliper off of the brake pads and slide the caliper towards the inside of the car.

Left rear brake does not have as much stopping power as right

Hi
Possibly partially blocked rubber brake hose to this caliper, or the caliper pistons are seized.
Good Luck !
