It should be right on top of the battery on the drivers side of the engine compartment. They may be a plastic cover over it.
PCM's are the last thing I consider when diagnosing a vehicle. In the last 20 years I have replaced less than 10 PCMs or "computers" that have failed to operate as intended.
PCM replacement on your vehicle is expensive and it will need to be reprogrammed with special equipment once it is installed. Making sure this component is the true source of your problem will not only save you money but also headaches in the long run.
The battery is located under the cover immediately behind the Head
lamp assembly remove the three screws that secure
the cover and push the 4 tabs on the heat sink looking with the cords
running from it. (I have no idea what this is does)you can now remove
this larger cover to reveal the battery the tighest space I have ever
seen in a GM.

look up a company called fleet pride they are a drive train specailist if they dont have it they should be able to tell you who will. why cant your local dealer get you one?
