There are screws in the handle area, bottom of the door, and behind the speaker grill. Just remove the screws and pull out and up on the panel. Remember, there are wires to the power switchs and rods to the handle and door lock button so don't pull the panel away too far too fast. A plastic panel removal tool is helpful and inexpensive. hope this helps

Front passenger door window won't come up.

Do you have power windows? What is year--make--model?
I'd want to look at wiring diagram for power windows. Find the wire color for voltage and ground. Check the wire harness on hinge side of passenger door, check voltage and ground on proper wire colors. The window motor could have a problem, but, I'd want to check wiring circuits, first.

Need to replace drivers side rear view mirror, powered. I have the new mirror, just need to know how t install it.

Hi,
You remove the door panel on the inside and it is bolted on from the inside. One wire clip and 3 bolts. Takes longer to remove and replace the door panel than replace the mirror....look for a hidden screw under the armrest , under the window/door lock button panel and sometimes behind the reflector or light on the bottom of door..Usually there are 3-4 screws and then the rest of the panel is held on by plastic clips. Get the screws out, then work a flat screwdriver or putty knife around the sides and bottom of panel, then lift upwards to get the top sealing side out of the track where the window runs.....Mike

How to remove left front door panel,to replace window motor on 1998 chrystler concorde

Hi it can be quite tricky to do as their are hidden screws and it is also held on by snap in clips so you need to take your time and double check you have un done everything correctly.
here is the best way of removing the panel:

There are 3 screws at the bottom of the door panel, one behind the inside door handle lever and one under the small cover inside the recessed area used for closing the door. Then you need to pry out the mesh covering the speaker using a flat screw. There are 2 screws inside there as well. Once you have removed all the screws the panel should be loose at the bottom. Pull out and push upward to free the panel. Then you need to unlock the small lever connected to the inner door handle. Also unscrew the locking lever near the B pillar. Disconnect the electrical cable for the courtesy light and the panel is completely free.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Window on front passenger side fell into the door. The power motor still works. How do I remove the plastic covering to door to get at window?

hi,
most screws are visible to you, there are two screws hidden in the grab handle(which will just lever off, away from the door)
when all screws (along the bottom and the top closest to the A pillar) are removed the plastic must be pulled away from the door, as it is now held on with push clips. once removed , the window lifter mechanism will have to be removed, but by the sounds of it , I'd say the lifter is what's broken. it is a fairly common fault

How do i remove the driver's inside panel door? My electric button panel for windows and locks isn't moving.

Like reference guide, check this procedure to Removal & Installation / Door Lock Motor...

The door lock motor is integral with the door latch. If the door lock motor is found to be defective, the entire door latch must be replaced.
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Roll the door glass down.
  3. Disengage the 2 clips attaching the speaker grille to the door trim panel. (They are at the front of the grille, one near the top, and the other one at the bottom).
  4. Remove the 3 large washer-headed screws surrounding the speaker.

    1. One screw is located at the lower rear screw pocket.
    2. Three screws are located along the bottom of the door.
    3. One screw is located inside the handle opening.
    4. One screw is located at the upper front.
    5. One screw is in the pull cup.
  9. Disengage the 2 hidden clips attaching the rear of the trim panel; pry them off at the 2 attachment clip points.
  10. Lift the trim panel upward and away from the door, disengage the trim panel from the upper retainer channel.
  11. Disengage the clip attaching the latch linkage to back door handle.
  12. Disconnect the electrical connectors as necessary, including the lower foot light, if equipped.

How do you remove interior door handle form 1993 Ford Tercer The window won't roll up and I can't get the handle off to get the panel off to get to the window tract

It's easy!

  1. Remove triangle-shaped plastic cover Fwd of door window - gently pry it off

  2. Remove screw from the plastic cover behind door open lever

  3. Remove door lock plunger. (unscrew)

  4. Remove screws down inside the door pull hand-hold area

  5. Look for other phillips screws - sometimes around the lower 1/2

  6. Pry hidden plastic hold down fasteners from around the edge - pull the panel away from the door and where you see it 'stuck' to the door, slide a pry tool, a stiff putty knife works well, up in that area and pop the fastener off.

  7. Lift door liner enough to get to the mirror power connector and unplug.

  8. For some model years, with door panel loose, you can access the bolts / screws that hold the interior trim piece in place and remove.

  9. Remove Mylar cover for access to 3 Mirror mount studs, speaker screws, door lock actuators, window motors, etc.

  10. Remove nuts, (hold the mirror up from outside) and remove mirror. (Feed electrical harness through door openings as required to facilitate removal.

  11. Reverse order for installation.

Need to pull door panel off to replace power window motor can not get door panel off

There are 2 screws holding the window switches to the door and 2 screws for the door panel, one is in the pull handle, the other behind the window switches. Remove these screws and using a trim remover(hopefully) work around the sides and bottom of the door to pop the plastic retainers out of the door, push in at the top of the door panel and push up from the bottom to release the top retainer.
There is more to changing the motor than you may think. Steel cover has to be popped off and reused, so be careful.

1 right side about same height as top of armrest. 1 (each side) about same height as bottom of armrest. 1 on each corner bottom. 1 bottom in middle.  1 on left side between bottom corner and the previous at about lower armrest height...

Remove Service Hole cover.
Remove Door Glass Run.

Remove Division Bar (upper window section divider):
Remove the two screws under the weatherstrip
Remove the bolt.
Pull out the division bar.

Remove the Window Glass:
Place the glass in the door cavity.

Remove the window glass by pulling it upwards.

You now have access to the Power Window Regulator; possible replacement of motor etc.

What type of 'things' have you tried for fixing the window and restoring operation?

Power windows

The PCM (vehicle computer) controls the power windows for your vehicle. check the power window relay under the hood before repairing PCM. Also the cheapest way is to call local garage and ask if they have a TECH2 scanner to talk to the PCM. The Dealer will charge you about $95hr. to do this.
