Check the bottom of the wiper, maybe didn't push into the right position, or the bottom of the wiper, the geras worn out.

The wiper motor runs, but the wipers wont work.

Can you move the wipers by pulling on them? If you can and they easily move, the wiper linkage is disconnected. If you can hear the motor run and the wipers are inoperable, suspect a seized wiper pivot

My windshield wipers wont work.

It Sounds Like, Either The Arms Are Loose ,If You Can Hear Something Moving Behind The Dash,
Or The Linkages Are Seized ,If The Motor Just Hums No Movement Heard,In Which Case Try Spraying Q 20 On The Linkage And Try Moving The Wiper Arms By Hand To Get It Going Again,
If Not The Motor May Just Be Burn;t Out.

MAZDA323 FAULTY WIPERS

Check the wiper arms are properly connected to the mechanism, that protrudes from the actual motor...these normaly have a tooth like system and therefor if the wiper arms are not connected properly then the wiper motor will run but the wipers wont move.....also check the wiper cross arm mechanism(located under the bonnet)as these are normaly on a push fit ball and could be worn and disengaged.

I have a 1999 or 1998 Ford 350 Econoline and the when you turn the wipers on you can hear the motor on the wipers going but the wipers wont work or move. Why?

The two most common causes are broken wiper motor shaft and striped gears in wiper gearbox. Both require replacing wiper motor assembly

1983 dodge ram 4x4 wipers wont ever work

Will or can you move the wipers by hand? Does the wiper motor hum when it is turned on and had power to it,or have you tried attaching a wire directly to the motor from the positive side of the battery? If the wiper arm and linkage is free and the motor can be turned by hand while attached,if voltage is going to and from it, it will work or it(the motor) is defective.

1998 Mazda protege wipers wont work

remove your cowl panel right at the back of the hood and look at the linkage that attaches to the motor. It has probably come of or broken. Hope this solves your problem Merry Christmas! and God Bless!
