Question about 2002 Chrysler Sebring
My airconditioning/heater blower only works on # 4. Suddenly stopped working on 1, 2, 3. What is the problem? AC was working great all of a sudden it stop blowing. . turned off car checked fuses still nothing, then with switch off it began blowing but very low....
I have had a similar problem on a 2002 Concorde and an older Oldsmobile. There is a "resistor package" (the term I was given) that can easily be replaced. Go to an Auto parts store and ask them about one. They will even help you locate it under the hood.
On the 2002 the dealer replaced it under the warranty years ago and it still works fine. On the 1994 Olds I replaced it myself. I pulled the wires off and unscrewed a few screws and replaced it.
On the Olds, the resistor wires were rusted and separated. The replacement works fine. I THINK it was about $30.00 for the part.

After researching abit I opened the cover under the glove box and saw that a wire to the blower wasn't connected. I plugged it in and taped it and now it works fine......
