When the headlight are off the turn signals work. when the headlight are on they do not and the driver side headlight does not work either. the driver side indicator light is on inside the car (when you turn the lights on).

1992 Honda Prelude lights wont focus

Hard to say without looking at it. Usually it is 2 reasons: the bulb is not fitted properly or the headlight itself is dull (yellow). In the second case you just polish the headlight with some car polish until it is clear. Anyway i am sure you fixed it by now....

1988 prelude p side headightl mechenizime slopy when fully open

Oops anyhow i just posted the same question .our problem starts by putting the hood holder rod next to the headlight instead of next to the battery when we close our hood then our next problem is we turn our lights on well the hood holder rod gets in a bind when it tries to open .soo the short of it is that it gets bent so no guarantee adjusting it will work .that being said this process should work perfect on the drivers side .for the passengers side it just depends how many times it was put on the wrong side and tried to turn on the lights and how badly the mechanism was bent!!!!!!!

1998 honda accord, with the headlights on the tail lights are on but turn signals do not work. if head lights are off turn signals work unless i apply the brake, if i apply the brake the brake lights work...

It sounds as if you have a bad earth to either one or both of your rear light clusters. If it only happens when you indicate in one direction then that is the offending side.

Right hand side blinkers not working;all hazards work ok..

Fiddle with the turn signal lever. If you ever get the rights to blink, the turn signal switch is bad.

My 1991 Honda prelude has lost a headlight ground. Where is it?

There are fuses for the headlights, right and left. G201 is the ground connection number. I have no picture but its located RH Center of eng compartment. Usually on the radiator support.

All electronic accessories work when key is in

test power at the starter's power wire. If there is voltage, replace starter. If there is no power, check fuses/relays, if those are fine, check ignition switch (there is a recall on this since 2002). Typical symtoms of ignition switch failure on these vehicles include: Some warning lights not lit when key is turned to ON (ABS, battery, check engine, oil light etc.), Intermitted hard start/No start, stalling while driving, intermitted guage failure. If it is an ignition switch failure, call your local honda dealer for possible free repair under the recall(have your VIN# at hand). hopefully this helps
