URGENT problem with new hyundai I bought last year

My Hyundai went in for 15`000 k`s service a month ago and I reported the problem with the tyres which are in a unbelievable state for 15`000 k`s, as well as the spare which is a lager size than the others. The guy at Hyndai Klerksdorp, Agenbag Motors, Stevan, said to me that HYUNDAI WILL NOT BE OF ASSISTANCE and gave me the cust care no. I phoned but since the very first call did not receive any help at all. If I get in an accident I don`t even want to think what will happen if I need to brake as the tyres are in a shocking bad shape. I NEED URGENT ATTENTION WTH THIS PROBLEM PLEASE???????? I spoke to peaple in this bussiness and they all agreed that there is somewhere a serious problem as this is impossible for tyres with this few k`s to be in this shape and it get worce EVERYDAY!! Do I need to go to the papers regarding this to get attention or help???

Hello,
1st) what type of tires do you have on (what make, model ande messure)? I know they came with the car but it sounds more like a problem to be dealed with the tyre manufacturer...
2) what do you use the tires for? do you just drive in the street with them to go to work/school or do you race/autocross with them.? my car has 13000 km and I'm on my 4th set of tires because of autocross. They just won't hold long if you use them like that.
3) please look at your tires and search fot the treadwear, it's a number between 0 and.....400 or so,
regular tires should have about 380 treadwear. the higher the number the more they will last, because the compound is harder, but they won't have good grip. the lower the treadwear the better grip you have and the safer it is to race/drive BUT they won't last for long. the tires my hyundai had when I bought him where some kuhmo kh15 with treadwear 380. regular tires....
please answer to be able to give you some more advice...
you can also write me an email [email protected]

I bought a 2001 Santa Fe a month ago. Since then we have replaced the alternator twice. Could there be something else causing the alternator to go bad? The battery is brand new as well.

alternators are electric motors in reverse basically, only a couple of things to go wrong, bearings and internal wiring(brushes)as you dont say what the problem was,and when i worked for hyundai they rarely went,so i am loathe to guess......did you buy new parts or from a dismantler?????? i dont know.....

I want to complaint about the hyundai dealer. how can i do it. I got my hyundai accent 2006 model serviced from hyundai service centre. the mileage at the time of service was a little less than 20,000 kms....

are you sure they didnt change fronts to rear so that you would have the safest tyres on the front???
From my experience, working for hyundai, you would be lucky to get 25/30k from a pair of fronts and about 50 from the rears......
also, as tyres are relatively cheap, why would they swap for a pair of old, worn tyres, dont make sense...... (its easier to go to a parking lot at night and steal all four from a new car........)

This should be under warranty. Tires should last longer than that. You didn't question why you had to pay?
And no front wheel drive does not have any "known" design issues.

No reply or support from customer carewith urgent complain!!!!

You have to find what causes front tire early wear. Tire Quality or front wheel misalignment.
First check your front wheel alignment and correct if necessary.

Warranty Duration
Each manufacturer specifies the duration of their tires' limited warranty in months or years from the date of purchase. Therefore, tire warranties begin at the time of delivery for new vehicles, and at the time of purchase for replacement tires. Consequently a new vehicle's registration certificate or the replacement tire's sales invoice will establish proof of ownership and the tire's in-service date. If no proof of purchase is available, the week and year the tire was manufactured (as identified by the DOT tire identification code branded on the sidewall) will be used.
Tire warranties also expire when the tire's original tread is worn down to 2/32nds of an inch (1.6 mm) of remaining tread at which time the tread blocks are worn flush with the treadwear indicator bars.
