Question about 2002 Lexus LX 470
I fixed the no disk detected error by pulling the unit, and taking it apart and replacing the drive motor in my dads 2003 RX suv... some light soldering required. Nav unit is surely the same... and I have replacement motors could do this for you much cheaper than a dealer... email email@example.com if you want

I have the same problem with 2002 lx 470. Still have access to radio & the it still play music from CDs. The disc is located right below the passenger chair. I removed and reinstalled the disc but still have the same problem. Called a tech & he said I can try to reset the system by unplug the battery. I'll try it this weekend.

Try first - remove and reinstall sat nav disc
next inspect disc for damage; eg water marks ect...if all ok you may have a reader problem[ laser].
