Question about 2002 GMC Yukon XL
The AC in my truck seems to work when it wants to. I have yet to find a specific situation that makes it work. I get in the truck and hit the AC auto button to turn the AC on.. the temp is set to 60 on both sides.. the snowflake comes on briefly and then begins to blink. I checked the owners manual and it says when it blinks it indicates that the temp outside is too cold to allow the AC to be operated. I live in south TX and the temp is regularly above 90. When this happens neither the front or rear AC will operate.. I get the regular fan to come on and basically it blows hot air from outside.. Any ideas?
It could also be telling you that your freon is low. have it checked if its good then you have a computer control problem seperate from the engine its a control just for heat and ac.

My 2004 gmc yukon xl 1500 series Engine Light is on I have 66,000 miles on the vehicle. I changed the Plugs and wires. The problem still exsists. The engine light turns on when the key is in the run position and after I start it. Could it be relate to the Tire sensor which shows on the dash. Which I'm unable to reprogram. Info would be greatfully appreciate. Thanks Stan from L.I. New York
