My problem is that car is misfiring been told by AA that its cylinder 4 coil inoprable can you tell me from looking at the front off car what one would be number 4 cylinder and how much would you think it will cost me to fix plzz thnx
...or more simply, I'm told when standing in front of car and looking at engine, 1-2-3 are front bank left-to-right, and 4-5-6 are back bank left-to-right. So No.4 is back left when looking at the engine from the front.

Is it the original Renault radio or an aftermarket(Panasonic,Sony)etc. If it is an aftermarket, the yellow wire is connected wrong. It should go straight to a source which taps off the battery. It will not run down your battery,it just needs very little juice to hold the memory.Or are you talking about a GPS?Just comment on this post and I will get a message telling me you commented.Good luck! all renault automatic gearboxes are weak i find later boxes weaker than the older units the zf are no better, ive seen these fail at 25,000 miles and older boxes usually last for 60,000-80,000 miles but with such a powerfull engine i would suspect heavy where would occur especially if it has been used for towing or school runs where the box is working hardest changing up and down. ures will have the older gearbox. good luck remember 20 mpg tops lol...
I am having a multiple cylinder misfire on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 with the 3.5L V6. Every cylinder is reporting a mifire. Each cylinder has it's own coil. I highly doubt that all 6 coils went bad at once. Does anyone have any idea what my be causing this?? Is that the problem you two are having?
