Fuse panel Where can I get a diagram of the fuse panel showing what each fuse protects? The air, heat and vent controls are not working. Everything else on the dash seems to work. Thanks, Jim

I don't have mine either, this should take you to the manual in .pdf form (you'll need Adobe to open it) I downloaded mine to the computer, it has the fuse layout in it also.

if that wont open, type "Aztek Pontiac manual" into google, it should come up.

1996 Lincoln Mark 8 AC controllers working blowers working nothing coming out of the vent

I noted your question. You said that NOTHING is coming out of the VENT. Do you mean the interior vents normally for heat and air? Does air blow out of your dash defrost vent? Does blower motor work continuously? If so, I suggest that you check fuse panel at driver's door. If you have your owner's guide, look on pages 251 and 252. 251 shows your interior fuses. 252 shows description for Fuse #9 (10A). You have numerous 10A fuses. #9 is the lowest fuse perpendicular to Fuse #10 (15A). If it is blown, you have some sort of resistance in one of 4 things RUN BY THE FUSE. I went to my mechanic and he told me that the Blower Motor Control Resistor behind the glove compartment was bad. I replaced it (125 dollars) and it was not the problem. Check the fuse. Is it blown? Replace and the system may work normally. If it continues to blow please get back to me. If the system works after replacement, please respond.

My 2004 bonneville's won't blow air when the heat is on.

Fuses don't cause problems

A fuse is like a straight piece of wire,
there to protect the circuit from excess current

If the motor fails to come, on access the plug & power
to it & test using a wiring diagram, then pull the motor
if it fails to work when you put power to it, bypassing the
control circuits

Fuse diagram 1996 grand prix

On a 1996 model you probably have vac actuators that control air flow. Look under the dash and you may be able to see the actuator that controls flow to the defrost and vents. There would be another one for temp control.

The fan stopped working for the rear AC/heat in our 2003 odyssey. Checked 40amp suqare fuse under hood and it tested ok. Is there a fuse or breaker for the rear fan motor?

The large fuse you checked is for the rear fan blower motor. The fuse you need to check is for the fan motor relays and rear mode control motor. It is fuse No. 3 (7.5A) located in the driver's under dash kick panel fuse box.

If fuse No. 3 is blown and you replace the fuse and it blows immediately, you'll have to check the five relays and the mode control motor all located near the rear A/C unit in the right aft sidewall. Most likely, the mode control doors have become jammed and that is why the fuse blows. The doors shift air from overhead vents (cool) to floor vents (heat).

If the fuse is fine, the trouble is probably with the blower motor itself or the wiring to the blower motor is broken, or there is a bad ground.

No air or heat blowing from vents

if the fan is blowing this could be a problem with the climate controll switch that changes the direction of air from floor to defrost to vents, some are vacuum controlled through a vacuum operated mechanism that opens and closes a door in the vents which redirects the air to different places.
