Sorry about two pictures. Found this on youtube, video showing how to remove blower motor. In the text, you can see years listed and it says l300. In the video, they removed windshield cowl to get at blower motor. The cowl is at base of windshield on the outside. you can check out the video and see what you think? good luck.
hi the resistor is on the casing of the blower motor housing you need to take out the glove box to get access to it usually held in with two hex screws hope this helps
Hello darwyn25: My name is Roger and I will help you. You must remove the glove box to gain access to the filter.Once the glove box has been remove look at the heater case. Locate the filter and pull outward. Reverse the procedure to reinstall the filter. I attached a picture to help identify the filter. Should you need further help please just ask. If the blower motor is only running on high the problem is the blower motor resistor. location for resistor is behind the glove box. Remove all items in glove box. remove glove box from dash and to the left of the blower motor you will see a electrical plug, remove the plug and the resistor mounting bolts. remove the resistor and replace it with new resistor. reinstall all items as you have taken them off. hope this will help you.
The problem is the Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective. Purchase the Pack so you will know what you are looking for. It can be located in a few locations. It can be behind the glove box, behind the kick panel on the passenger side, or next to the blower motor. I am almost certain yours is located behind the glove box but not 100% sure. Hope this helps you.
Its actually not that bad to change. If you open the glove box and remove the screws then the screws along the bottom of the glove box at the bottom of the dash the box will slide out. Remember to disconnect the light if it has one. Now you will be able to see the underside of the dash. You can see a large black box that has wires and vacuum lines all over. You need to locate a small flat plate with two screws and a plug in the middle. Disconnect the plug and remove the screws. The resistor will come straight out. The back side will look like small coiled up springs of different sizes. Install in reverse.Hope this helps. Good luck. Please re-post with updates. Thanks cj2176.
Its located behind glove box on top of heater just to the left of blower motor. If you take off the glove box door ( glove box and door one unit) you will see it on top of heater box.
