Question about 2001 Kia Sportage
My washer fluid squirts on the front of my 2000 Kia Sportage do not work. I checked to see if it was out of fluid and the tank is full. I dont even hear any motor noises when i try to suirt. Whatr could the problem be?
My kia sportage 2001 model always makes my battery drained. I am suspecting the problem would be voltage regulator. What would happen if I remove the connection to my voltage regulator? It seems to help when the regulator connection is not connected, because my battery don't drain. Thanks.

Locate the fluid reservoir and the pump attached to it. First, remove and reinstall the electrical connector. Does it work? If so...it was corrosion. If not, check to see if you have voltage coming to the connector with a tester when an assistant hits the button. If no, switch or fuse. If so, pump may be bad. Also, you can often run a wire from the pump to the + on the battery to get the pump to run. Not sure if the pump can be purchased separate from the tank.
