The freezing part is a bummer. Many things can be damaged by expanding ice. Now, The warwe coming from around the distributor is more than likely melt off.Check the engine oil to see if the water got into the crankcaseConsensation is probabaly the cause of no spark.. Fill the radiator with all spark plugs removed. See if any cylinders fill up with water. If one does, there is one of tthree things of concern. A head gasket, Intake manifold gasket or a cracked cylinder :-( The best you can do is pressurize the cooling system and locate where the water us going. Ck all your hoses. Good Luck. If you woll, let me know what you find, Thanks, Ned

If you mean frozen as in, the engine is locked up due to water rusting it together, you're in for a LONG hard process. I'd order a good 12-pack of Aerokroil from Kano Labs, and ~2 gallons of it Kroil with graphite. Dump contents of the oil pan, and make sure it's all cleaned out (leave the drain plug out, pour kerosene/diesel down the oil filler, let it run out, should clean it out by the time you get 1/2 gallon). Put the plug back in, pour in the kroil. Pull out the spark plugs, and spray each spark plug liberally (With a full can) of AeroKroil. Now, on the crank snout, most likely the main pulley, there will be a bolt. Get a socket to fit that bolt, and then get a long ol' cheater bar, put the socket on the ratchet, and every day spend 20-30 minutes man handling that cheater bar. The rest of the time, put a bungee on it to keep some pressure.

1991 ford f350 7.5 .. just changed the coil the Ecu .changed the module. and a new distributor started it up ran good.. shut it off and now no spark.. help pulling my hair out

the distributor must be timed correctly
v8 gas, 7.5L
yes not easy to fix, or find it old cars.
first make sure main spark coil is dead or now
forget the distrib at first
the HV ignition coil 1 hv terminal must make spark
if that works the distrib timing and firing order set right.
there ,no external CMP no CKP but there a cam sensor in the DISTRB bottom
called the distrib; pick up coil but is old like of CMP sensor.
yes the distrub itself can be bad, or get the pickup coil inside.
the 4 parts do ICM , Distrib and hv coil, and pickup coil
or blown fuse
or blown fuseable link.
or bad wires here, or timed wrong.

if timing is too far advanced cranking the starter motor will struggle.
get timing near 0deg. now.
later with a timing light we do fine adusted timing. to -5degr or spec.

Why am I getting a small amount of water on a regular basis near the radiator when the car is running:

1. Check for loosed hoses/clamps/leaks?
2. IF your hoses are secured with stock easy access clamps...switch them to worm clamps.
3. IT may be the reservoir leaking.
4. Is the color water/liquid identical with your coolant color?
5. Check the hood weather strip, it may seap water from the front of the hood.

Rough idling, seems to have power loss, and takes more oil than usual

is there smoke coming out of the exhaust? if so what color? if it has white smoke is usually a blown head gasket. if it is a bluish gray it is oil. check your radiator when it is cool. if it appears to have oil in it it could be a blown head gasket. if you leave the radiator cap off start the motor, if you rev the engine and coolant shoots out of the radiator (compression from the cylinder forcing water out) it is a blown head gasket. this can cause the motor to run weak and idle rough and oil to disappear.
if you happen to have a compression gauge take out all of the spark plugs look at the spark plugs if they all look the same or is there ones that look black and sooty(running rich) or looks green(burning antifreeze/water) white Burning hot) http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html
check the compression of each cylinder it is easier if you have an assistant for this. place the gauge over the spark plug hole crank the motor once or twice. the gauge should be around 120 psi (pounds per square inch). if all of the cylinders are under 120 psi more than likely you have worn or broken rings which will cause low compression causing it to run weak and consume oil.

Water is seaping out betwean the intake and head do you think it could just be an intake gasket its leaking toward the throttle body

if its leaking next to throttle body shift cable side where intake is. its the intake gasket leaking.if its leaking under the throttle body.check top radiator hose.it could be leaking also.

Got oil on one of my spark plugs and it has no power. But it don't smoke?

Replace the valve cover gasket, and make sure that it comes with the spark plug tube seals. probably replace the plugs if they need it, and the plug wires should be replaced if they've gotten very much oil on them since the oil degrades their ability to insulate, and the plugs will start arcing up the sides and engine will start misfiring.

Check the seals around the inside of the spark plug chambers, where the valve cover meets, could be seaping in from there
