You need blower motor resistor inside of the air box. Its a credit card size looking device, with brown flat connector held by 2 screws on passenger side above your feet. part is normally about $45.

I turn the switch on all the settings and nothing blows out. Nissan maxima 1998...I just replaced the motor blower resistor

could be the blower motor it self. usually when resistor failes the blower will only work on HIGH or number 4 on your dash. when resistor burns out, all speeds other than 4 tend to stop working and blower works on high because its getting 12V/batter voltage applied to it, when on lets say speed number 3 the blower gets less voltage thus resulting is slower operation. put 12V/battery voltage to the blower motor directlly and see if it comes on. it should crank pretty fast so hold it tight when you are ready to put battery voltage to it.

My 1997 nissan maxima air was working fine, i had it on 3 which is the second to highest setting. When all of a sudden it stopped working. I turned the air off, and back on, and realized that it would not...

I am postive that your problem is the blower motor resister. it is located behind the glove box and Ibeielve it has 4 wires. It would be about $40 i think at a Nissan dealer. very easy to replace. about 6 srews on the glove box and then 2 sr=crews on the rsister.

Air conditioner wont work

You need to check your freon level. Go to your auto parts store and pick up a can of freon with a gauge and follow the directions on the can.

Drivers window switch not working nissan cefiro 1995

so you know it's the switch, replace it. but check the fuse first. it could be the motor. was it slowly failing or was it sudden? a switch would start to go bad when it stops while ur pushing on it or sometimes it works or doesn't. motor would most likely just go at once and it may blow the fuse. make sure you check both

2002 Nissan Maxima SE - Air condition not blowing cold air

simply "adding a can"is a good way to end up with non-functional A/C. the typical system has high/low pressure switches that enable/disable the system. you need to be at the correct volume of refrigerant as specified on the sticker under the hood. i recommend using the proper equipment, evacuating, pulling a vacuum, and then refilling the system with the appropriate amount.
