    Hi Rodney.

Recently, in my country, Subaru have grown to be every boys toys for racing and day to day use, to the point that it has killed the Mitsubishi Evo series, if you can pass this buck and let someone know that assistance is zero regarding the subaru, if we could have an agent or spares shop it would boost the subaru car sales by 100%. At present we have to rely on South Africa agents for assistance and guess what? they dont usualy have any spares what so ever, for an example, i have a subaru legacy station wagon as well and the bearings of crank shaft and con rods suffered sevierly, to replace these was almost impossible as it took 4 months to get these into my hands. Give it a thought. Tcheers.

Where to is the fuel filter for legacy outback H6 3.0 2001 model

the fuel filter is marked in the box.
first mark each hose with a different mark. then simply remove the clamps and carefully pry off each hose connection.
if the hose is damaged 5/8" fuel hose can be used to replace pieces if necessary due to drying out rubber

Why does my 98 subaru legacy sputter and die?

Clean your MAF sensor and throttle body. If it's dirty it will send wrong voltage to ECU, running either too lean or too rich, most likely too rich and flooded the fuel injectors.

Cant find fuel filter on a 1999 subaru liberty/legacy wagon. have heard it may be in the fuel tank

There is a filter on the pump, but it rarely needs attention. The real filter is usually near the washer fluid reservoir under the hood. It is silver and is strapped to the body, with two hoses. One in, one out.

Why is my 1996 subaru legacy not getting fuel? Gets fire. fuel filter looks good and fuel pump engages. Any idea?

but if you have no fuel pressure it wont start. Spray some quick start. If it starts then you need to test for fuel pressure. If none or low, replace fuel pump.

Did you end up getting this fixed? Mine (same model, year) has a similar problem. I used a fuel additive to clean out the whole fuel system, carburetor, combustion chambers etc and it's helped heaps. But still struggles a little in the cold, still need to leave it running for a few mins before driving. About to replace the fuel filter now and see if it helps...

Where are my fuel filters located on a 2006 subaru legacy 2.5 non turbo

Hello SUBY bro, we've got an 05 Legacy 2.5i

Here is your answer which I'm quoting from LEGACYGT.COM: " The fuel filter in the 05s is in the fuel tank and there is no scheduled replacement interval." The same should be for your 06 model

Fuel filter

Hi,

To my knowledge, most versions of Subaru Legacy has the fuel filter inside the engine bay (under the hood), driver's side pretty near the master brake cylinder. tI is held by a clamp and would have two tubes for the in/out hoses. There are some versions of this car that have the filter incorporated with the fuel pump inside the tank.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
