Plug the car in if your getting a p0335 error code. Its probably the crank position sensor. This will cause not spark to both coils

The motor will turn over but it just spins. It will not start. It is getting gas and fire.

if the engine is getting fuel and fire,it should start. unless the cams out of time, have you replaced the timing belt? it may have JUMPED time due to a loose or worn timing belt.if the engine has 90.000 miles and the timing belts not been replaced, that is my solution. if you are mechanically inclined: remove the timing belt cover and inspect the timing marks from cranhshaft to camshaft,,,if they are out of alignment, then the issue is you need anew timing belt replacement. thank you for choosing fixya.com!

Cant get my 93 caravan started

Check the timing belt. The belt can break and it will turn over with the starter but won't fire.

93 Volvo 940 Threw timing belt, now won't start

The same thing happened to my 94 volvo 960 the engine belt was having the same problem, i changed it the belt, it was fine for a few miles after that it just died, does not fire, not sure if it is getting fuel, but the mechanic says the timing belt went off. you may have to check the crank sensor on yours.

No fire

I have the same vehicle and had the same problem. It could be one of three things. Yes your timing could be off. 2nd- Your crank positioning sensor could be bad or disconnected.3rd your distributor went out and needs to be replaced. Most likely it is your timing off or your distributor went out in which case the distributor is an easy fix to do yourself but expensive for the part. Did it run before tightning the belt.

Is you harmonic balencer back on? If it has timing sencer, it won't fire if it does'nt know when to fire.
