There are little clips that you squeeze in towards the line and that releases them. Squeeze the clips, then pull the line straight out of the radiator. Very simple. When you've done it, you'll go "aaahhh, that's neat!". :D
To reinsert the line, squeeze the little clips again and push the line back in and then gently give it a tug to ensure it latched properly.
I need to remove the two hoses from my fuel filter on 2003 mazda tribute so as to replace the filter but am having trouble ! Do I need a special tool or can I use pliers and just squeeze it where the little holes are and the clips inside and slide it off?
There should only be one fuel filter located near the gas tank. You will need a wrench for one side and a special tool to squeeze the clip on the other side. The fuel system must be bled before you take off the filter!! as the fuel line is pressurized. If you can afford it, take it to a mechanic. If you can't, I recommend getting the Haynes manual for the car showing detailed instructions for changing the fuel filter. The Haynes manuals have instructions for a complete tear down of the car along with great troubleshooting guides.
Real simple-If you have a plastic looking tab ,you push line on tight and push on tab toward fitting. Do not try to pry it away or off, with a screw driver or it breaks
If you have what I think your trying to remove, it is called a Spring Lock Coupling
You go to Auto Parts Store and tell them what size the fitting is,and buy the removal tool.
It opens and wraps around the coupling, then you squeeze together and pull hoses apart.
have some push all the way down on the clutch than squeeze the plastic tabs on bushing to release u also need a special tool to remove disconnect the hydraulic line from clutch release cylinder most auto stores carry it or let u use /loan for free
There are two types of connectors on these lines. Either brightly colored quick-connects which do not require tools, (Just squeeze the tabs together). Or black quick connects which must be pushed back to remove line.
