Question about 2005 Honda Pilot

2 Answers

Navigation system I recently programmed the GPS to go from Little Rock Ar to Kansas City Mo. Roughly 320 miles, the system programmed a total of 630 miles by a circuitous route even when I select most direct route. Any ideas what could be wrong?

System randomly goes haywire, direction is totally off, as if the satellite is not connecting right.

Get an update for the Maps. Should be able to call the dealer and purchase a new DVD of updated maps. P.S. This may be spendy.

I have cylinder 123 misfire new plugs wires and coil pack

Darlene, we were out of town on a trip, and my wife's 1998 Exployer (V8) had carbon buildup in the intake system that suddenly showed up and car was running terrible.

A Garage in Prairie Grove, Arkansas took apart the top of the intake and cleaned it ($75 if my memory serves correctly).

My Son's 2006 Exployer had random misfires that plugs and wires did not solve. I took the car to a garage (Able Auto Service, 7th and Osage, Kansas City, Kansas) that had a carbon cleaning system where they opened the fuel line and ran a chemical thru with the fuel as the car was running in the shop.

Cleaning the carbon from the intake system solved the problem with both cars. I can't remember what the name of the system & procedure was. They Charged around $150 for the procedure.

I would recommend calling Able Auto Service (7th & Osage Ave, Kansas City, Kansas) (913) 321-1030) and they can tell you the name of the procedure. Maybe you could find a local auto service garage that does the same procedure.

Just recently purchase a 2000 Grand Am V-6....Had problems with starting it, so i changed the battery(new).. its been roughly a month since the replacement of the battery...car worked fine after...

Do this self test and youll get an idea where your at, can you jumpstart the car?? if you can do so. then remove either cable from the car battery its self, if it shuts off you have a bad alternator, if it doesnt then theres a bad/losse cable somewhere between your battery/starter and or losse ground from battery to to enigine block or chassis. i would start with check the alternator, then creep under or above and check for loose cables ar starter, grab the cables by hand and move them around. send me a feedback or let me know if you need more help.
