Its right up front on the head of the motor, your radiator hose should run right to it, its a aluminum housing with two bolts n a thermastat inside, hope this helps ya brutha

You'll have to put a volmeter on the battery when the engine is running. The voltmeter should read between 14 and 14.5 volts. If not the alternator is not charging. Could be a defective alternator or a wiring problem.
The blinking engine light indicates your problems are severe and could cause more damage to the engine if not corrected. You will need to have a diagnostic scan run to retrieve the trouble codes that are causing the light to come on & flash. From those codes, repairs needed can be determined. I hope this helps.
