With the little bit of information that you provided, it sounds like a battery problem. Check the battery cable connections for corrosion buildup, and clean them if necessary, then check and refill the battery fluid if yours is a serviceable battery (refill each cell to the split ring using distilled water). Once this service is complete, jump start the vehicle if you can, and then have the battery checked, and replace it if necessary. OEM batteries typically need to be replaced after three years or so.

Have you tried replacing the battery in the key fob? That will usually make it work properly.

Why are the door locks lof my 2004 mazda 6 ocking and unlocking on their own?

If they lock after you start to drive forward...and automatically unlock when you stop and place gear shift in park...that is a safety design...Many car builders use this, with certain variables as to when to auto lock, and auto unlock...if the locks are working on there own after you have started driving...that is another problem. Your owners manual should address how the locks in your Mazda 6 are designed to work. Hope this helps.

I can't disable my anti theft device on my chevy malibu 2004 and my car will not start

This usually works.Lock the doors with the remote.Press lock twice sounding the alarm. Then press the unlock button twice.Your car should start now.If that doesnt work try this,Lock the car again with the remote once.Go over to the passenger side door and use the key to unlock the door then press in the door unlock all doors.Hopefully by now it worked. Now if none of these work your security probably malfunctioned and theres only two things that will work,One is disconnecting the battery for 5 mins then reconnecting.unlock doors.the start. If that doesnt work you'll have to take it to the dealer to get the security reset or replaced. The steps I have wrot you are the diagnostics to reset it.I hope these work for you and good luck.See ya had have a great day..

Alarm system

Just curious, do you have an entry system?
or does it open with a key?
What happens when you try to start the car?
Anyway, I probably would disconnect the battery,
wait a few minutes and reconnect it if nothing else works.
Another thought is try all the doors.
There could be one door causing the whole problem.
Good Luck,
Paul

Program remote control for mazda mpv 2002

Courtesy of: forums.mazdaworld.org

Try this, it works on several 2002 models:

Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open.

Step 2: Lock and unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch on the door.

Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.

Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.

Step 5: Open and close the drivers door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).

Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.

Step 7: Press any button on remote #1. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.

Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors.

Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done
