Question about 1997 Pontiac Trans Sport
How do you open the rear door manually? Handle is defective and no interior handles.
It is hard but you just have to pop the panneling off the door, the loop handle has screws in i, take that off first, work carefully, and lordco usually has the white things that hold the panneling on to replace ones you break. have something to put the plastic sheeting youre going to have to pull off onto cause it can make a mess with it's sealant (don't rip it replacing it sucks) have a good lubercant and a replacement handle ready, it's only 4 bolts (nuts) to get the handle assembly off. be gently with the handle linkages there usless if there bent much. good luck.
