Start with the most simple thing before trying to replace anything. Clean both connections on both positive and negative side of the battery terminals AND the leads. You may then proceed to putting some graphite powder into the key slot of the ignition, working it back and forth a little. NOW trouble shoot malfunctions in and around the ignition and fuse box. Sometimes the fuses are not tight and wiggle about too, try tightening the little clamp on each of the fuse holders.
