I have a 2004 Chevy S10 4x4 Crew Cab and need to know where fuel pump fuse and relay are located. Any info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks !

The fuel pump relay is in the engine compartment fuse/relay box . The relay on the control side is given B+ from the PCM - engine computer . The load side (fuel pump ) gets B+ voltage from the ECM B fuse 20 amp - location ,under hood fuse box.

1987 GMC R 1500 4.3 won't start I have tried 2 switch wires...after installing the relay I noticed I had spark while hooking up the battery...I don't know what else to check...need help Thanks! Bobby

Engine cranking do you have spark at the spark plugs? Do you have fuel injector pulse? Any applicable trouble codes?
As far as the fuel pump, check ecm B fuse. Sometimes that fuse is located under the hood on firewall, close to fuel pump relay, not only check the fuse, use a test lite and check voltage on fuse circuit.
My wiring info for your model year isn't very good.

Toyota Tacoma fuel problem

Check the following:
- Listen to the fuel pump noise under the fuel tank.
- Starter signal.
- EFI relay, under the hood fuse and relay box.
- Fuel pump operation and pressure.
- Regulating valve.
- Circuit Opening Relay (COR) under the dash.
- Check for open in harness and connector between circuit opening relay and fuel pump, and fuel pump and body ground

Keeps blowing fuel pump fuse. Why?

This normally happens due to short in the wirings.Or if someone has connected a stereo or some other electrical contrivance to the wiring harness (bundle), either under the dash or under the hood.To confirm this unplug the fuel pump wiring connections and insert new fuse. Then start the car and see,if still the fuse blows then its a short in wiring. But if the fuse does not blows then its faulty fuel pump relay or faulty fuel pump itself. So first replace the fuel pump relay and see,if the fuel still blows then its faulty fuel pump. But if the fuse not blowing then relay was the faulty part. The fuel pump relay located on the fuse box under the hood.---------This troubleshooting tips will help you locate the fault and solve it.-------Thanks.Helpmech.

Where is my fuel pump fuse located? i try to start my car all it does is crank and crank but doesn't kick over. i've already changed my fuel filter.

The fuel pump fuse located under the hood, behind the passenger side headlight. There SHOULD be a bank of 2-8 relays, with some fuses. One of those fuses (in a plastic protection carrier) is for the fuel pump. Its under the hood, passenger side, front of engine, passenger side of radiator, mounted on the relay panel(4or5 boxs)look for a long black thing and pull down on it,a #15 fuse.----------`- Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

1994 ford explorer not staying on

Did you try the fuse panel under the hood. I have a 1994 Explorer with over 100,000 miles and it would do the same when I was driving it would sometimes just shut off. Check the EEC (Electronic Emission Control) Fuse (30 AMP) under the hood and see if it's blown, I replaced mine with a 40 AMP fuse and it worked.
