Steering problem

if its a power steering setup with the belt pump setup with fluid then the pump has worn out, harder steering and hissing are common symptoms of a faulty pump

Power steering hard to turn

The power steering system includes a P.S. pump which will whine when you turn a hard left or right while in park. There are also power steering hose that can leak. Then there is also a power steering gear box. Unless you have a rack and pinion steering system. Then that is changed as a unit.

Changed power steering pump and it is hard to turn

Sounds like your steering gear box may be the culprit rather than the pump. What were the original symptoms?

I have replasted my power steering pump but still having problems turning right only when the reves are down but when driving it is ok

check the gear box for leaks and excessive play. since it is hard to turn to the right and not the left the steering gear box is binding.

Steering wheel is hard to turn right. Have to be

I would check the power steering fluid level first and if its down repair the leak and recheck to see if its cured if there is no leaks and the level is fine ..Remove the serpintine belt and see if the pwr steering pump pulley pulls off. I have seen the pump shafts break and appear to be fine but they will pull out of the pumps...Good luck hope this helps..

The power steering is not working when i turn right. Turn left no problem. Why?

If the suspension is not binding (check with both wheels off the ground) then likely there is an internal valving problem in the steering box. Sometimes changing the fluid in the unit can help but most times the box needs to be rebuilt or replaced. (cheapest option is a scrapyard part...chances of getting another failed unit are almost zero)
