Replace flasher unit driver side, under dash, above fuse block, mounted on kick panel. Looks like picture below. Tell the parts store it runs both the turn signals and the hazards to make sure you get the right one.

1987. Why is there no power at the turn signal cam?

Do you have brake and parkng lights? The turnsignal switch on the column is just designed to relay a path to the flasher and then it is designed to interupt the brake and some of the parking lights lights, which cause the flashing on and off. Double check fuses double check bulb socks and bulbs for good contacts. Does the 4 ways work? If the lights all flash then locate the turn signal flasher and switch with emergency flasher if possible to rule out relay. If those are all good and the emergency flasher lights work and bulbs, then you would have a problem with the turn signal switch. Hope this all helps

Signal lights stopped working

If the fuse is good and the flashers work then you have a bad signal flasher, this car uses two flashers in one located under the dash, one controls the hazard lights and the other the signals, these are all inside one flasher, so turn on the hazards to locate it by listening to clicking noise. i have inclosed a diagram to help locate it. its on leftside kick panel by your left foot, replace the flasher and see if that does it, good day12_6_2011_6_03_02_pm.gif

Both of the rear turn signals stopped working at the same time, but everything else seems to work. Do you know what can cause this to happen? I changed one of the bulbs and it didn't work.

There is a turn signal flasher under dash...most have a flasher for the emergency signals and one for the turn signals...some have one flasher....but check fuses first...normally it is fuse burnt...if you can locate the flasher normally they will get abnormally warm when bad......it should look like a round or square silver shiney or black cube.........if these are good with ign.on hold turn signal lever down firmly ...if it works replace turn signal unit.....if none of this works you have to troubleshoot wiring...
...normally yellow wire is left turn and green wire is right turn...black or white is ground red is stop light....but normally it is a blown fuse or flasher.

1997 Chevy Tahoe both turn signals stopped working

Sounds like the flasher unit to me. Normally the emergency flasher and turn signal are separate.

1988 acccord turn signal acts like light is blown

Check the earth to the offending light unit. Clean all the relevant connections. You could also try fitting a temporary earth cable and watch for any improvement. If you find that there is improvement in the operation of the indicator/flasher make the temporary earth cable permanent.

either the front or the rear turn signal bulb is blown, that is why the flash frequency is high. replace the bulb and the problem will be solved. best to replace both the front and rear turn signal bulbs. good luck.

Blinkers not working

Did you check the bulbs? If one bulb is burned out, the blinkers won't word on that side. You could have one bulb burned out on each side. Start the car, put left signal on. Check front and back lights. Is one light on but not blinking? If that's the case, the light that's not on at all is burned out and has broken the circuit so the good light stays on and won't blink. Check the other side. You also have a 'flasher' , actually 2. One for emergency flashers, one for the turn signals. It could be that the turn signal flasher is shot. You just have to unplug it to remove. It's probably located near the fuses. good luck countrycurt0
