Cambelt timing marks 4jx1

sounds like the injector sleeve O rings have failed this was common.
if you put a clear plastic piece of hose on supply line for diesel fuel filter to head fitting at front and fuel is not black but normal diesel colour thats good.
then put clear hose on return line fitting at rear of cylinder head and fuel is now darker, engine oil is by passing injector sleeve top O rings and entering into fuel gallery in head.
rocker cover, injector rail, injectors need removing and injector sleeves need replacing as well as O rings and seats.
a special tool is needed to remove the injector sleeves out of the head. you will also need to drain the cooling system before removing the injector sleeves, so coolant is also needed.
dealers have special tool for injector sleeves

Does the air conditioner on a 1997 ford 250 desiel 4x4 have a fuse

Only the blower motor not the ac,but it does have a relay, should be in the relay box along with other fuses, make sure it is not low,or out of freon,it will not energize the clutch coil on the ac compressor if it is low or out of freon. If not,and you know there is freon, and enough, remove the negative cable for 20 seconds to reset the ac sytsem.

I need to replace the clutch on my volkswagon jetta, I need the instructions so I can determine if it is something I can do myself. Can you help?

This a quick summery: You have to remove the drive shaft. this you will need a special tool must auto parts store will have or can get it for you. Then support the motor from the top. remove the shifting linkage, remove the starter, remove the speed-o-cable (plug the hole a big cork stopper or a clean rag), remove the ele. connection (the backup switch), remove bracket from the mount on the rear of the transmission and from the transmission, remove all the bolts from the transmission to engine, pull the transmission back you may need to twist it too. Watch it it will be heavy.
