Sounds like the door switch is not cutting out and would need replacement best to get it checked out at local mechanic or dealership

The back seat interior overhead lights of my 2006 Buick Lucerne have begun to stay lit when I'm driving. Pushing on light does not turn it off. How to turn them off manually?

If the rear light on the other side goes on and off by pushing on the light then i would say the switch in the one that stays lit it either stuck or broken and may need to be replaced. i think you could stop by a body shop and they would be able to do it for less money that a Buick dealer would.

I have a 2006 Chevrolet hhr I replaced battery and alternator but it still want keep a charge what could wrong

First find another shop or mechanic. Here is a list of things. Ignition switch stay on, wiring, interior lights stay on(glove box, visor mirror lights), Radio, starter, and computers not working right. If you have an overnight drain where the vehicle doesn't start. I would look at the ignition switch first. Accessory and off are close, so if the key pulls out early or late, everything could be on.

there is a dimmer switch to dim the dash lights. when you turn it all the way over it turns the interior lights on it is the same switch as your headlights.

The interior ligts on my 1989 corvette coupe stays on all the time

make sure the interior light switch is turned off so they only come on when the door is opened(this happens alot),the next thing is it could be a door switch that has a problem thinking its open.you could also have a headlight switch that has an internal problem like a short that is allowing power to the interior light wire circuit of the switch causing the interior lights to stay on.

Interior lights stay on while driving and after the ignition is shut off.

I would check your door jamb switches first, they are spring loaded and you can check them by pushing each one in and move your finger and they should pop back out without any restriction. When the springs are open your interior lights should come on and when pressed in turned off. Also be sure to check your console dimmer control/interior light switch as well to make sure it is functioning properly
