Usually if you can get the column sleeve off on the top of the column there is a rod that can move back and forth grab a pair of plier and push it forward the truck should start and to stop it just pull it back toward you......tell me what happens

Charging diagram for 1991 ford explorer alternator


Here's a link to your charging system,it shows a fusible link inline with alternator,follow wiring leaving your positive side of battery,link could be melted or burnt.

Does anyone know where the egnition modual is located 2006 ford explorer


The fuse box is under the instrument panel on the driver's side , also , there is a power distribution box is in the engine compartment. Be sure to unplug your negative battery cable first.

Having trouble finding the two 12Volt wires for the car stereo and can't find the diagram with the color codes for a 99 Ford Explorer XLT. Can you help.


almost all vehicles have a red and yellow wires that usaully both hot wires the yellow is usaully the egnition hot wire where as the red is direct to battery for the clock the black is the ground wire and the rest of the wires are for speakers they should come in sets of two of the same color but one would have a small stripe on it it`s the possitive side for each set of wires to each speaker. Hope this helped you.

One of the wires on your ignition feed is possibly wrong, causing the engine to switch off when leaving the ignition.

Locks not working properly


been there ------open up the rubber connector between the drivers door and the body [by the door hinges ] the wires break from flexing. just solder or **** connector them back together. it helps to add some wire to one of the broken ends to make it easier to connect . there may be more than 1 wire broken

91 explorer heater not blowing air


The blower motor is located under the hood on the passengers side next to the hood hinge on the firewall. But, check your blower motor resistor first. The resistor is usually the trouble maker. It is located next to the blower motor. It should have 2 screws holding it onto the heater housing. Also an electrical connector. I sincerely hope that this will get it working again.
