Location of g400 ground comming from the master window control switch
I have noticed there is a bad ground comming from the master window control switch.. i need to find where the g400 ground is located so i can find out more about the problem.. any information will help

My wife and I have the same problem. I have temporary resolve that problem by lowering the dimmer to its lowest level (hard to see the dash board) but the alarm and noise are gone! supposedly its the passenger door switch (have not replace it)

Thermal switch fuses in the fuse box. No relays as I know of. Usually a bad ground, bad switch (master) or bad window motor / regulator. Any of those would cause a window failure. If both just quit, I would guess bad ground to master (drivers side ) switch or bad switch.
Have you actually checked for power at the driver's master switch?
I don't think there would be a window relay, there is probably a power window circuit breaker in the instrument panel fuse box.
If no windows work, pull the master switch out and check for one hot wire with key on. If none, check for broken wires in driver's door opening. Your ground for the windows will be in that group of wires too. Both must work for windows to operate. If you have power and good ground at the master switch, and no windows work, probably a bad master switch.
Usually, power windows use a circuit breaker, rather than a fuse, in the fuse panel under the driver's dash.
If any windows work or even make noise, it's not a fuse or circuit breaker problem. If no windows work, pull out the driver's door master switch and check for one hot wire to it with key on. If there is that, the ground for the windows originates at the master switch and runs back into the cabin to a nearby ground. One could check both power and ground with a test light or voltmeter. Check for broken wires in the group of wires entering the door. If either the power wire or the ground wire has broken there, the windows will not work. If both power and ground are good, possibly a bad master switch.
Anything can go bad, but to my knowledge circuit breakers seldom do. If you have a test light, pull the circuit breaker and probe both terminals for a power signal, with the key on. One terminal should show voltage with key on. If not, check the power distribution box for a blown maxi-fuse, or the wiring from that box to your fuse panel. BTW, no, no relays are in the window circuit. So if the circuit breaker has power to it, put it back in and check for power on the driver's door master switch-one wire on the master should have voltage with key on. If no hot wire to the master switch, check inside the door openings for a broken wire. If you do have one hot wire there. check the power windows ground-the ground wire for the power windows originates at the master switch and goes back into the cabin to a nearby ground. Put one lead of the test light on the hot wire (key on), and probe the ground terminal at the master switch-if your ground is good, the test light will light up. If the ground is lost, no light. Check for a broken ground wire in the door opening, and/or find the ground and see if it is bad. If the master switch has a hot wire and a good ground wire, replace the master switch.
Lots of cars use a 20 amp circuit breaker rather than fuses for the windows. Usually located in the fuse panel inside the car. If no windows and no switches work at all, it could be a bad master switch on the driver's door, but more likely a broken feed or ground wire in the door opening where the wires go from the door into the car.. On the master switch you should have one hot wire (feed wire) there, with the key on. This will verify that either the fuse or circuit breaker is good, and power is supplied to the master switch. There will also be a ground wire (probably black) from the master switch going back to a ground just inside the car, possibly at the kick panel on driver's side, grounded to the body sheet metal. The wiring diagrams for your 2003 GMC Sierra power window circuits are copyrighted material and cannot be posted here. However, I can describe the driver's power window circuit to you.
Battery voltage is provided to the driver's window (master) switch via the ORANGE wire at PIn #2 on the switch connector which comes from the 25 Amp Left Window Circuit breaker located in the fuse block on the left side of the dash.
There is a logic module located inside of the master switch which controls the "Auto Down" feature for the driver's window. When the switch is operated in either the "UP" or "DOWN" position, power and ground is supplied to the window lift motor via the BROWN wire (Pin #1, Connector 2) and the DARK BLUE wire (Pin #3, Connector 2) Thease wires will switch polarity dependin on whether the switch is commanding UP or DOWN.
The schematics show that the ground circuit for the driver's window motor is supplied internally by the driver's window switch module. It is most likely grounded inside the door panel itself - the schematics do not specify. To check for ground, you can test continuity to ground on BOTH the BROWN and the BLUE wires by back-probing them with the switch electrical connector plugged in and the window control switch in the NEUTRAL position. They should both have ground.
When the switch is operated, one will remain ground while the other switches to power.
According with the Explorer Owner Guide, I suggest... 1. Check for power on the Light Blue/Black (LB/BK) wire at the master window switch. 2. Check for a good ground to the master window switch on the Black (BK) wire. This wire provides the ground circuit for all of the window motors.
If both of these are good you probably have a bad master switch(drivers master switch).
The Light Blue/Black (LB/BK) wire gets its power supply from the accessory delay relay in the Central Junction Box (CJB) located under the instrument panel. The Generic Electronic Module (GEM) controls activation of the accessory delay relay. Fuse 2.17 is a 15 amp fuse in the CJB which supplies power to the relay. Fuse F1.6 is a 60 amp fuse in Battery Junction Box (BJB) which also supplies power to the accessory delay relay. G400(ground) is located at the driver side rear of the vehicle near the tail light assembly. This connection provides a ground for the master window switch (click image for zoom).

You have 2 fuse feeds in battery junction box under hood.Fuse 6(60amp) and fuse 62(30amp) and one fuse in the interior fuse panel no. 17(15amp).
How the system works is fuse 6 feeds fuse 62 which feeds the switch side of the accessory delay relay which is located in the interior fuse panel. Fuse 17 feeds the coil side of the relay and the instrument cluster micro-processor grounds the coil side of the relay.
When coil side of relay is grounded it creates a magnetic field which pulls the switch side closed which then lets power flow to the master window switch on the LB/BK wire on pin 6. The ground for the master switch is G400 which is the BK wire on pin 2 and G400 is located in the left rear quarter panel next to the tail lamp assembly.
