It could be an ignition part starting to fail-the crank position sensor maybe, or the cam position sensor-on some jeeps called the pick-up coil, inside the distributor. If one of these sensors fail, the computer cannot figure spark timing, so no spark, and injector circuit may also shut down.

1995 jeep keeps cutting out is this what happens when a fuel pump is bad

The parts which determine whether or not a vehicle "turns over" are the battery, starter and alternator (if there is one). The fuel pump has nothing at all whatever to do with that. As for the "cutting out", that could be a fuel pump or even a fuel filter problem. Could also be the carb or deterioration in the gas tank. Good luck. . .

2000 grand jeep cherokee limited 4.7 liter, v8, at first wouldn't start rplaced battery because dead and then replaced starter. ran ok for a couple days. last night started it and hard time with it...

Pop into to your local garage and have a diagnostic test carried out.
Listen to the advise given. It may save you lots of money, especially if you start the "guessing" game.
It does sound like a part may be blocked or failed though, but the sytem needs to be tested thoroughly first.
Good luck

I have a1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee LMT v-8 4x4. The code reader said that it is the camshaft sensor bad, but i am then told that the vehicle doesnt have one. the vehicle runs great untill you turn it off. ...

This is common when using a aftermarket scanner to read codes. the problem you are having is a common one. replace the crankshaft sensor, its located at rear of the engine, its hard to see but its there. look at where the engine and tranny meet, i think is on the top near the driverside but if not there then look at pass/side but its near the top of the tranny housing. its common for this, crank sensor problem, good day.

It is most likely the Ignition Coil overheating, it is probably cracked on t he outer casing somewhere. It could also be the Camshaft Position sensor. I would start with the Ignition Coil. are you getting a problem code.
