These normally have a manual release but you will have to take the stereo out of the dash. This requires a specific tool but they are pretty cheap and can be found at any auto store.

Try (using an old CD) inserting another CD under the stuck CD...you may need several attempts...the eject should catch...and then release (eject) the stuck CD...Hope this helps...:)

do you hear your palyer motor running when you press eject??If so, the rollers that shoot the cd out are dirty or worn. This may work, Pound lightly on the top of the dash (above the stereo) while the CD is being ejected. I had the same problem on my 03 expedition, I pounded in the dash and the cd comes out. If your system is jammed, you would have to take it apart. Oh, this vahicle has alot of issues with A/C and heater controls, your actuator motor is probably faulty, making it unable to change airflow!!

i have a 2005 kia Amanti. i believe a cd is stuck and the cd palyer will not rptate or eject. does anybody have a solution?

Remove the negative battery terminal, then replace it. This will reset the CD palyer, and you should be able to then get the CD out using the eject button. You'll also have to reset your clock.

sometimes you can use another cd to get the first one loose.dont try to jam it in or anything just use the edge of the cd to tap the one thats stuck.see if it wont loosen it up
