Hesitation at low speed-engine light on

Check engine came on a week ago. I still drove the vehicle. Basically the car hesitates in first and second gears. Drives fine once up to speed. I was thinking possible crack in air intake but checked and appeared to be fine. Could the O2 sensor be the case?

It could be TPS or MAP. corolla dont call it a map but its on the firewall near the brake booster check your vacume lines see if any have come off or cracked or dry rotted. vacume leak could be the problem. there are a lot of them to check.

Engine misses/hesitates on low speeds. Runs fine

is the check engine light on? have you ever serviced the injectors? if not try that first because there are many things that give the symptoms you spoke of. but this is the cheapest.

2004 Freestar-In Jan. it just started hesitating and it would not get over 30 mph. I had it towed to the dealer and they could not find problem. I picked it up and it ran good. I noticed the radio had lost...

Take van to reputable Ford dealer and have them hook it up to computer and check for any codes.
The vehicle computer might have to be reset for the egr system. What they did was disconnect your battery for the quicki reset for vehicle, thats why your radio had reset.

Check engine light just popped up. when you stop at a light car is idling very low. Very bad hesitation even at high speeds

Hi. The best action in this situation will be to run the codes. This can be achieved by taking this vehicle to a local auto-zone, or dealership. I recommend auto-zone, they will run a diagnostic scan for free. Once the Vehicles CPU is scanned, it will isolate the actual issue that is causing this hesitation, and low idle. Running codes will prevent you from wasting money on parts that you don't need to purchase. The scan will give you an accurate print out that will inform you of the failing component.
