Question about 2001 Ford F150 Styleside SuperCrew
Clean the battery terminals, make sure they are tight and CLEAN. Use a wire brush to make the teminals shiney clean. If it still does it, it could be the alternator or dead cell in the battery. Wal-Mart, Autozone or O'Reileys will check the battery for free and Autozone or O'Reikeys can check the alternator but it has to be off the vehicle to load test it. I'm told NOT to do it the old fashioned way and I'm not sure why they say not to do it, but we used to get the vehicle running and then disconnect the battery cable from the battery. If the vehicle stops running, the alternator is bad, if it keeps running the battery is bad.
