usually unbolt it from the motor .get repaired /replaced then get the system recharged with freon (134A) pay attention to belt routing so you get it back on properly this is best left to the professional mechanics
I am not the most mechanical guy and i did it with out much problem. You can get the fans at alot of car parts houses. i just layed under neith the front bumper and there were only a couple of screws and a connector to plug back in.
Not very easy. Need to get the fuse block mountings released so it can be moved as far out of the way as possible. Then the battery needs to be tilted straight up and down. then it can be removed, but not without scrapping your knuckles a bit. A small coolant hose may also be in the way, along with a main wiring harness. Tech JK
