I had the same problem.First make sure that it is not the fuel pump. I knew my fuel pump was good so I changed my ignition coil. I'm up and running.

2003 LINCOLN TOWN CAR WONT START, HOW DO I DEACTIVATE SECURITY SYSTEM

When you turn the key to run or start is the theft light on or flashing ? Sorry but their is no deactivating , it's software programmed into the vehicle control systems . The dealer couldn't even do that with a factory scan tool . You need to see what DTC's - diagnostic trouble codes are stored , diagnose the problem and fix it .

1986 lincoln town car. cant get the spark needed for car to crank over

This is the part you need to replace. TP31SB. Just make sure you mark where the roter is in it's entirety. Ie. direction the roter is facing (under the cap) and same place roter is when you unscrew the set bolt.

1993 lincoln town car wont start

Hello
The engine and automatic transmission in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM

My 2005 Lincoln ls air conditioner started running hot about a week ago when my husband took it to get the oil changed. He took it to a mechanic and he told him it was an a/c control module that is really...

It's the part in the insturment panel that you push the buttons , control panel or what you call it . It's a electronic automatic temperature control module . Or (EATC) module . And a new one from ford will cost that much . You can find one's at other places ,remanufactured $200 to 300 bucks . There not hard to change , don't know if it would need to be programmed . Call this place
Modules
Google HVAC control module for your vehicle an see what else you can find . I know there are a number of places that fix them . A lot less then $ 1,000 bucks

My contenintal wont hold a charge installed a new alternator and regulator where do i find the wires to check them

remove the positive battery connection and check continuity from the cable terminal to the output on the alternator. you can go to autozone.com to view wiring diagrams. register and enter your car. then select repair guides. also, has the battery been tested and found good?
