Hi geary..... The 2003 Ford Explorer battery should fit snuggly into the battery compartment. The recommended dimensions are 7.13 in. x 3 in. x 6.57 in. It is 12 volts, and as far as total amps, the more you spend, the more reserve power you will have for cold starts and such. IF the battery in the car now appears to fit properly, just duplicate it as closely as you can. Also, remember that that old battery can be recycled and it will give you a discount on your new one.

Here is an excellent link to related info that you will want to review regarding your battery http://hubpages.com/hub/Choosing-a-Car-Battery---Guide

How is rear window glass of 2003 explorer changed

If there is no rubber around the glass, then it will be glued in place. This replacement is best left to the windscreen replacement experts to get the glass to sit right and seal of properly.

My 1999 Ford Contour sport has been sitting for a couple years, I'm not much of a car guy so I don't really know how to start it up now. It wont start, and I need help, Thanks

If you think the pistons are rusted Put a socket on the front of the front of the crank shaft and try turning the socket with a 2ft breaker in a clockwise direction. If engine rotates start checking electrical connections at the battery.Dont just check positive connections check ground connections at frame; starter ,engine and body also.

I have 2003 Explorer with 4.0L V6 engine. PCV valve is really loose and won't stay inside the hole in valve cover. As a result oil is sipping through. When I checked using mirror and flashlight, the hole...

Yes - It should have a plastic grommet type thingy to sit in. Just push in, no threads.
Try to find one in junk yard or order from dealer.. How much could they cost?
You could try an actual grommet.. but must be oil resistant.

How can I reset the computer on my ford explorer (2003)

The easiest way is to unplug the battery and let it sit for 5-10 min. You can also pull the ECU fuse.
