Clean the carbon out of the throttle body with a rag and carb cleaner. Older ECM's did not have software to adjust for build up. Common source of rough running and stalling.

Sounds like air is in the line and you need to bleed the line.Remove the compression fitting going to the fuel injectors/rail,Crank the motor 2 seconds, wipe off any gas on the motor than connect the fitting back on.

Car starts running rough at idle, eventually quits running. Has new plugs, wires, cap, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, IAC Valve, and gas cap.

Back then, Honda suggested timing belt replacement every 60,000 miles. If your Honda has that much mileage or more and has never had the belt replaced, now may be the time.

Running rough, studders on acceleration, no power.

FIRST, I WOULD TUNE IT UP WITH PLUGS, WIRES CAP AND ROTOR. THEN I WOULD GET SOME REALLY GOOD FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER AND USE AS DIRECTED. MAKE SURE THE TIRES ARE INFLATED TO SPECS AS THIS CAN REDUCE MILEAGE AS WELL. AN INTAKE CLEAN CAN ALSO HELP IT RUN CLEANER AND MORE EFFICIENT. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK

Check your Gas Cap. If the Seal on the Gas Cap is Bad, It will allow Air into the Gas Tank and cause the Problem Stated above. Let me Know! Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help that I can get! Thanks!

Rough idling, rough acceleration then runs decent when i back off

you may need to clean the injectors
what you can do is
you can buy some injector cleaner and see if this helps
make Shaw you get a decent brand as the cheep ones do not work as good
drive around with this in your gas tank
when you have in in your gas tank it helps clean them if you do some harsh acceleration but don't race the motor and don't speed
in other words get to the speed limit fast
this will apply pressure and will push through any gunk build up
there may be some smoke for a while from the exhaust but is will go back to normal when the fuel injector has finished cleaning and all the build up is gone
hopes this helps
